Apple Car – an Apple car scheduled to launch in 2021
According to a report by Economic Daily News (Taiwan), the car developed by Apple is at least 2 years ahead of plan and will be launched in the third quarter of 2021.

Besides, the report confirmed that Taiwanese manufacturers are preparing to boost the production of components for “Apple Car” as early as the second quarter of next year. At the same time, the source also added that Apple had secretly tested many car models on the streets of California.

In fact, Apple received a license to test autonomous vehicles in 2017. That same year, Apple was seen testing the technology with a Lexus SUV fitted with a LiDAR device.

Is it 2 years earlier than the expected schedule?
Previously, many sources, including prominent analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, said that Apple will launch the Apple Car will be launched in the time frame from 2023 to 2025.

However, the 2021 timeframe released by Economic Daily News seems too early, especially in the context of a pandemic affecting.

Earlier this month, DigiTimes said Apple is in early talks with many car component suppliers. Thus, the company’s car project is still at a fairly early stage. At that time, the DigiTimes report added that Apple would work with TSMC to produce “self-driving chips”.

According to MacRumors, it is not excluded that the Apple Car will be first introduced by Apple in 2021, but it will take longer to launch the market.

There has long been a lot of information regarding Apple developing its own line of branded cars. Therefore, the appearance of Apple Car next year is still “suspicious” because it seems that the company still has many difficulties to find partners to manufacture components.
